Hey guys what’s up it’s me Priya! So for today’s post, I’ll be reviewing an amazing food restaurant. You might have heard of NOIDA BAR EXCHANGE at DLF MALL OF INDIA. Me and my sister Shivani recently made a visit to try the yummy delicacies they have. Keep scrolling for the detailed review.

First impression

The place was merged with Smaaash, a gaming plaza. I feel its pretty cool to mix entertainment and food. People playing at smaaash can conveniently come at Noida Bar Exchange and fill up their hungry tummies. The location of the food place is dlf mall of india which further makes it accessible to many people. The place was kinda dim but it absolutely went with the theme of the decor and the fact that there was a gaming plaza just outside it. By the look of it, it was a very fun place.

Food and Drinks

Now we come to the best part of the restaurant and i.e the food! I won’t be lying if i said that the food here is something you’ll crave for. We tried some of their specialities including tom yum soup and tempura stuffed mushroom. The tom yum soup was something I was trying for the first time. One of the main quality was the authentic and unaltered recipes of this dish. The main highlight was the tempura stuffed mushrooms with thyme and basil. We both felt that these were beyond yummy and very different to what we have tried. We also enjoyed the taste of peppery cheese bites which was nothing but very basic rolls filled with all the cheesy goodness and the jalapeno peppers. other basic dishes were vegetable dimsums, honey chilli potato and salt and pepper.

Noida Bar Exchange has a variety of Non-Vegetarian delicacies too. Chef’s recommendations are Galouti Kebab, Wok fried fish chilli & basil and beer batter fish and chips.

The place is also famous because of its italian food. The pizzas and the pastas are a must try.

Coming to the drinks, the food place offers a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Since we don’t drink, we ordered a virgin mojito and a vanilla shake. The vanilla shake was average, but on the other side, the virgin mojito was by far the best mocktail I’ve tried. Truely speaking, I am not a very big fan of mocktails but this drink changed my mind. It had the purest taste of its ingredients.

We didn’t have enough space to order desserts but no meal is complete without it. I was so pleased to try out the belgian waffles and the red velvet cake they offered. Red velvet cake was fine and was absolutely what you would expect it to be like in India. Whereas, the waffles served with honey, whipped cream and the belgian melted chocolate, were beyond my expectations.

Overall : Good food, perfect portions and fine ambience. Overall it was a good experience.

Rating : 4.5/5
