As you guys might have noticed I have been trying out new restaurants and Cafe. One of my search took me to  Trend kitchen opened at Ansal plaza mall, khel gaon marg. This restaurant is known to serve European and North Indian cusine.


Talking about the ambience of trend kitchen, starting right at the entrance you get the posh vibes. It has 3 type of sittings one for separate tables for date and family gathering. The couch area for friends and colleagues. And other one for bar. This outlet is quite big and have brick wall detailing on one side which looks super cool.

Food at trend kitchen

The menu has variety of non veg dishes while it limits in vegetarian food especially the starters.

For starters I ordered their puffed aloo chat which is actually a bhel topped off with puffed potatoes. Loved the tangy chat.

Then I ordered goat cheese tikki which is a layer of Asian pear topped with goat cheese tikki. This was a nice change from usual aloo tikki.

Along with this the star of night “Falooda” was served. I can not stress enough about how good it was. It is the best Falooda I’ve had so far. Rose espuma and basil seeds made it special. I would suggest you should definitely give it a try.

I also tried basil pizza which is thinnest of the ones I have ever tried, 7 grain khichdi served along with paneer pinwheel and karela chips.

For the desserts I ordered Shahi Malai tukda, firstly the presentation was amazing. It has cream layered over crisp tukda. Cream has a thandai flavor which completely refreshes you.

I have already planned what I am gonna try next time. Definitely gonna try their already famed Idli and sambhar, dilli 6 burger,paneer pate, and chur chur naan.

I would rate this restaurant a 4 out of 5. The service was good and presentation was top notch perfect. I would definitely suggest you to give this one a try and you have to try Falooda.
